Cornerstone mission statement:

The goal of Cornerstone is to provide a healthy, fun way for members and allies to become conscious of the fact that it is indeed possible to practice our faith and be an LGBT person without being ashamed.

– Fr. Pat Hensy, C.S.P.
– Revised by Cecile G. Gray, Ph.D.

Cornerstone is a group for people who want to know how to reconcile their faith and sexuality. It is not just a group for LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender) people and their allies, but also for others who want to know more about what it’s like to be gay and Catholic, such as siblings of LGBT persons, or those who have been taught that it is wrong to be homosexual. Cornerstone is respectful of all viewpoints, and we treat anything you say in the group with discretion. In fact, you don’t even have to say anything at all! You can just come and listen.

Cornerstone currently meets on Monday nights at 6:30pm in the Community Room. Please contact if you have any questions and/or would like to sign up for our mail list. We’re also on Facebook! Click here to join.
