Hello y’all! I am not from the South…but I do love country music, two stepping, line dancing, NASCAR, and chivalry. I actually hail from San Diego and am proud to have received my Bachelor of Science in Political Science from San Diego State University.
As the youngest of 4 brothers, I figured I should learn martial arts, so thirteen years ago I started training in taekwondo. Before that I played basketball and continued through high school. I am a huge San Diego Chargers, Los Angeles Lakers, Jimmie Johnson, and SDSU Aztecs fan! I enjoy reading, learning, and getting to really know people. So please feel free to talk to me whenever, I love making new friends!
It is through people that I encountered Jesus Christ — through the joy and truth of Christ-centered college friends that I came to truly know and love God and the intellectual richness of the Catholic faith. I am excited that I am at UCLA and the UCC as a FOCUS missionary where I can spend time with y’all, get to know y’all, and invite y’all into a deeper relationship with Christ and His Church!
p.s. I also like to travel, go on road trips, as well as make lists and check the things off as I accomplish them. So feel free join me for any of these three thrilling adventures.
Our hearts are restless until they rest in God. — St. Augustine (Confessions)
“Christianity, if false, is of no importance, and if true, of infinite importance. The only thing it cannot be is moderately important.” — C.S. Lewis
“The desire for God is written in the human heart, because man is created by God and for God; and God never ceases to draw man to himself. Only in God will he find the truth and happiness he never stops searching for…” (CCC 27)
