A Letter from Paulist President Fr. Eric Andrews, CSP

Hi All,

Hope you all are doing well… This is the big weekend to push as mightily as you can the Virtual Gala… H ope Coast to Coast: A Virtual Groundbreaking with the Paulists to be held on Saturday, October 17th at 8:30pm Eastern/7:30pm Central/5:30pm Pacific Time!

Thank you so much for sending in your honoree for the Spirit of Hecker Award!   PLEASE DON’T KEEP THIS HONOR A SECRET FROM THE RECIPIENT OR YOUR COMMUNITY!  Please inform them immediately of this honor so they can tell their loved ones to join them on the 17th.  Also, announce the honoree this weekend at Mass.  This will encourage others to come and support their local honoree.    

All Paulist Donors were sent Save the Date Postcards, but they are slow to reach the West Coast and Florida… If you are in either of those places, let me know if your house received them.

I ask for you to do two things at this point:

-Please make this Announcement (in these or similar words) this Weekend at Mass, in e-blasts, and in bulletins if you are still distributing them:  We Paulists invite you to join us NEXT Saturday, October 17th at [ YOUR TIME] for a very special Gala Event: HOPE COAST TO COAST: A Virtual Groundbreaking with the Paulists.  It will be LIVE on the Paulist Fathers YouTube Channel and Facebook Page  It’s going to be a party to celebrate the ground breaking of our new Paulist House of Mission and Studies in Washington DC.   (Your Parishioner) will also be honored that evening,  receiving the “Spirit of Hecker Award” for [his/her] embodying the charism of the Paulist Fathers.  This will also be an opportunity to re-launch our Comprehensive Campaign to secure the future of the Paulists.  To RSVP and get in on the Prize Drawing, go to Paulist.org/Hope.   Gather your friends for this uniquely Paulist evening!  Remember the Paulists put the FUN in Fundraising!  

-Secondly, consider making a leadership pledge that evening to the campaign.  All pledges made that evening will be applied toward your foundation’s local goal.

 We have had excellent responses for our National Virtual Events thus far, and this event promises to raise the bar!  Our Students, Novices, and our prep committee has been working overtime pulling this together!
