The Archdiocese of Los Angeles Office of Immigration Affairs invites our community of faith to the annual Mass in Recognition of All Immigrants on Sunday, September 19, 2021, at 3:30 p.m., at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels, which will be presided by Archbishop José H. Gomez. Everyone is invited to attend in person and appropriate protocols will be in place for the safety and well-being of all. Priests throughout the Archdiocese are invited to concelebrate this important Mass with the Archbishop.
The annual Mass unites the faithful, from our tri-county Archdiocese of Los Angeles (Los Angeles, Ventura, and Santa Barbara) and the Dioceses of Orange, San Bernardino and San Diego, in prayer and celebration of the immigrant spirit of the United States.
The relics and images of St. Junípero Serra, St. Toribio Romo and St. Frances Cabrini, three great advocates for immigrants, will be present at the Mass and available for veneration by the faithful after the Mass.
